Description
This delicious strawberry banana bread combines the sweetness of ripe bananas and strawberries, with a rich chocolatey touch.

- 3 large ripe bananas (1 cup mashed)
- ¼ cup unsalted butter (melted or coconut oil)
- 1 large egg (room temperature)
- ¼ cup Greek yogurt (Vanilla works)
- ⅓ cup brown sugar (or cane sugar (1/2 for sweeter option))
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup chopped strawberries (plus 2–3 strawberries for topping)
- ⅓ cup dark chocolate chips (plus more for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350F and line a 9×5 loaf pan with parchment paper or cooking spray.
- In a bowl, add the mashed bananas, melted butter or coconut oil, egg, Greek yogurt, brown sugar, and vanilla extract. Whisk to combine and set aside.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Mix the flour mixture and the egg mixture with a spatula until combined. Do not overmix.
- Add in the chopped strawberries and dark chocolate chips. Fold them into the batter.
- Place the batter in the prepared pan and top with more chocolate chips and sliced strawberries if you like.
- Bake for 50-55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow the bread to cool fully before slicing. Serve and Enjoy.

- This recipe works great with the addition of nuts for extra crunch.
