Description
A creamy and flavorful dip made with cannellini beans, perfect for snacks or appetizers.
Ingredients
Scale
- 15 ounces cannellini beans (rinsed and drained, or other white beans)
- 1 small clove garlic (or ½ small clove if you’re sensitive to garlic)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- pinch of cayenne pepper
- black pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in the bowl of a food processor and process until smooth, scraping down the sides of the bowl as needed.
- Taste and adjust seasonings as desired.
- If it’s too thick, blend in 1 tablespoon of water (or olive oil) to reach your desired consistency.
Notes
- This dip can be served with chips, pita bread, or fresh vegetables.
- Adjust the garlic according to your taste preference.
