Description
Delicious air fryer gammon steaks served with glazed pineapple rings and eggs.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 tbsp runny honey
- 2 tsp mustard (wholegrain or Dijon)
- 2 tsp olive oil
- 2 Gammon steaks (or ham steaks)
- cooking spray
- 2 eggs
- 4 pineapple rings (fresh or from a can)
Instructions
- Prepare the glaze by mixing olive oil, mustard, and honey.
- Pat the ham steaks (or gammon steaks) dry with paper towels and brush with the glaze on both sides. If you are cooking pineapple rings, brush them with the glaze as well.
- Preheat the air fryer for 3 minutes at 350°F (180°C).
- Place the steaks and pineapple rings in the air fryer basket and cook for 4-5 minutes for gammon steaks and 3-4 minutes for ham steaks.
- Flip the steaks and pineapple over and brush with the glaze once more. If you are making eggs, mist two silicone molds with cooking spray and add them to the air fryer on top of the ham.
- Cook for a further 4-5 minutes or until gammon steaks register 145°F (63°C) and 3-4 minutes for pre-cooked ham steaks (140°F / 60°C). If cooking eggs, make sure the egg white is set before removing from the air fryer.
- Serve with the egg, pineapple, and chips (which you can also cook in the air fryer).
