Description
Crispy on the outside and tender inside, this Air Fryer Bang Bang Cauliflower is a tasty vegetarian dish that’s sure to impress.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 medium head cauliflower, cut into florets
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- ¼ cup sweet chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust to taste)
- 1 tablespoon honey
Instructions
- Start by preparing your cauliflower. Cut the florets into similar sizes to help them cook evenly.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, milk, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until smooth. The batter should be thick enough to coat but still drip slightly. Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, making sure it’s fully covered.
- As you place them into the air fryer basket, try not to overcrowd.
- Set your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and cook for about 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden with crisp edges.
- While the cauliflower cooks, stir together the sauce: mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and honey.
- Once the cauliflower is done, gently toss it in the sauce or drizzle it over the top.
- Serve immediately while warm, when the Air Fryer Bang Bang Cauliflower is at its absolute best.
Notes
- Cutting the florets into similar sizes helps them cook evenly.
- Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket to allow for even cooking and crispiness.
