- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 2 cups biscuit mix
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for spice)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, shredded cheddar cheese, biscuit mix, milk, melted butter, garlic powder, dried parsley, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper (if using).
- Use your hands (or a sturdy spatula) to mix everything until fully incorporated but avoid over-mixing.
- Using a small cookie scoop or your hands, form the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between each.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove from the oven and let them cool for about 5 minutes on the baking sheet before transferring them to a serving dish.
