Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8-inch round cake pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter with the sugar until light and fluffy using an electric mixer.
- Add eggs one at a time, then mix in orange zest and vanilla until combined.
- Gradually add the dry mixture alternately with orange juice until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool for ten minutes before transferring to a wire rack; drizzle with glaze made from powdered sugar mixed with orange juice.
