- 1 cup granulated sugar

- 12 pieces candy corn (for beaks)
- 24 pieces chocolate chips (for eyes)
- 1 cup shredded coconut (optional, for nest effect)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the milk and vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Divide the batter evenly among the cupcake liners.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow cupcakes to cool completely before frosting.
- In a mixing bowl, beat together the softened butter, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- Add yellow food coloring until the desired shade is reached.
- Using a piping bag, frost the cooled cupcakes with the yellow frosting.
- Place two chocolate chips on each cupcake for eyes and a candy corn piece for the beak.
- If desired, sprinkle shredded coconut around the base of the cupcakes to resemble a nest.
Notes
- Make sure to soften the butter before using it for a better texture.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature.
