Pepperoni Mozzarella Bites

Description

Delicious bite-sized mozzarella and pepperoni snacks baked to perfection.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 and 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded (whole-milk melts better)
  • 8 slices pepperoni, regular or turkey
  • pinch Italian seasoning, garlic powder or red pepper flakes, optional
  • pizza sauce, optional

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. Add mozzarella cheese in round mounds on the parchment paper. Place 1 pepperoni on top of the cheese.
  3. Place tray in oven to bake for 10 minutes. The cheese will crisp around the edges.
  4. Sprinkle with seasoning if desired. Serve with pizza sauce for dunking.

Notes

  • Using whole-milk mozzarella will yield better melting results.
  • Try adding different toppings according to your preference.
