Delicious and festive Christmas tree treats made with a mix of cereals, peanut butter, and chocolate.

- 1 cup Light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup Karo Light Corn Syrup
- 1 cup Creamy peanut butter
- 2 cups Crushed pretzels
- 1 cup Quick oats
- 2 cups Crispy rice cereal
- 1 cup Semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup Powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons Milk (Adjust for icing consistency)
- 3 drops Green gel food coloring
- 1 cup Sprinkles of choice
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together the crushed pretzels, quick oats, and crispy rice cereal.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the Karo light corn syrup and light brown sugar. Stir until it begins to bubble, then remove from heat and fold in the creamy peanut butter.
- Carefully pour the warm mixture over your cereal blend and stir until everything is evenly coated.
- Transfer the mixture to an 8×8 square baking dish that you’ve greased and lined with parchment paper. Press it down firmly into the corners.
- In a heat-safe bowl, combine the semisweet chocolate chips and creamy peanut butter. Microwave until smooth.
- Pour the chocolate mixture over the pressed peanut butter base and spread it out evenly.
- Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to 1 hour, or freeze for 20 to 30 minutes.
- Once set, remove from the pan and slice into triangle shapes resembling Christmas trees.
- For the icing, combine powdered sugar and milk until glue-like, then add green gel food coloring.
- Pipe icing over the triangle trees and sprinkle with festive toppings.
